Hosting guest permanent makeup artists working in a professional PMU studio

If you’re a beauty professional looking for a studio to rent—whether that’s for daily bed rentals, a short-term home, or hosting a training—you’re probably tired of vague listings and unanswered questions.

So let me be very clear about how we operate here.

At Ms Amber Red PMU Studio, we host guest artists from all corners of the beauty industry. Permanent makeup artists, body tattoo artists, nail techs, estheticians, educators—you name it. Some stay for a day. Some stay for months. Some come in to teach. Some come in to rebuild their business.

This article is here to lay everything out.
What we provide. What we expect. And who this space is actually for.

No guessing. No surprises.

Why We Host Guest Artists in the First Place

I didn’t build this studio just to work alone behind a closed door.

I built it because the beauty industry thrives when artists:

  • Have access to clean, professional spaces

  • Aren’t locked into bad leases

  • Can collaborate without ego

  • Have room to grow without pressure

Hosting guest artists isn’t about squeezing people in—it’s about creating an environment where professionals can work comfortably and confidently.

Who We Welcome Into the Studio

We are intentionally diverse in who we host. This is not a one-service-only space.

Artists We Commonly Host

  • Permanent Makeup Artists (brows, lips, liner, SMP)

  • Body Tattoo Artists

  • Nail Technicians

  • Estheticians

  • Lash Artists

  • Beauty Educators & Trainers

  • Guest artists traveling into town

  • Artists transitioning out of salons

If you’re licensed, insured, professional, and respectful of shared space—you’re already on the right track.

Studio Rental Options We Offer

Daily Bed Rentals

Perfect if you:

  • Are visiting from out of town

  • Have overflow clients

  • Want to test working in a new area

  • Need a clean, professional space without commitment

You show up, work your clients, clean your space, and leave. Simple.

We’ve had traveling PMU artists come in for one weekend, knock out a fully booked schedule, and leave without worrying about setup, sanitation, or appearances. That’s exactly what daily rentals are for. Ashley Hogan Ink is from San Diego and travels to Vegas frequently to take care of her loyal clientele since Vegas is where she got her start.

Short-Term & Long-Term Room Rentals

Ideal for artists who:

  • Are building clientele

  • Left a salon and don’t want a full lease

  • Want independence without isolation

  • Need consistency without long-term contracts

You get a dedicated space in a professional environment—without the headache of utilities, furniture, or managing a whole building on your own.

Hosting Trainings & Workshops

If you’re an educator, this is a big one.

We host:

  • PMU trainings

  • Beauty workshops

  • Small-group intensives

  • Advanced technique classes

Our studio setup allows for:

  • Model work

  • Student seating

  • Clean transitions between demos

  • Professional presentation

We’ve hosted educators who flew in with students from multiple states and/or countries. Instead of scrambling to find hotel conference rooms or working out of cramped salons, they were able to teach comfortably, professionally, and without distractions. Candice Falcon - owner of Falcon Artistry is from Canada and just moved to Las Vegas. She teaches classes and takes clients within our studio.

What We Provide as a Studio

A Clean, Professional Environment

This is non-negotiable.

You’ll have access to:

  • Professionally maintained rooms

  • Proper sanitation standards

  • Comfortable client areas with a coffee/water station

  • A space that reflects your brand professionally

  • In studio bathroom and kitchen

Your clients should feel confident the moment they walk in. That matters.

Community Without Pressure

We’re not a studio where everyone’s forced to “be a family.”
But we are a respectful, supportive environment.

You’ll be around:

  • Other working professionals

  • Artists who understand boundaries

  • People who take their craft seriously

You can collaborate—or you can keep to yourself. Both are fine.

Flexibility

We understand that not everyone needs the same setup.

Some artists need:

  • One day a week

  • A few weeks

  • A few months

  • A space for one event

We don’t believe in forcing artists into boxes that don’t fit.

What We Expect From Guest Artists

Now let’s talk about the other side of it.

Professionalism Is Required

This is not a hobby space.

We expect:

  • Proper licensing and insurance

  • Respect for clients and other artists

  • Clear communication

  • Showing up on time

  • Acting like the business owner you are

If you treat this like a side hustle, this probably isn’t the right environment for you.

Respect for Shared Space

You are responsible for:

  • Cleaning your area

  • Disposing of waste properly

  • Respecting other artists’ time and space

  • Leaving things how you found them

Shared space only works when everyone pulls their weight.

Clear Boundaries

We don’t micromanage—but we do expect:

  • Respect for studio policies

  • No poaching clients from other artists

  • No drama

  • No entitlement

We protect the culture of the studio because it directly impacts everyone working here.

Who This Studio Is NOT For

Let’s save everyone time.

This may not be the right fit if you:

  • Want a chaotic, party-style environment

  • Don’t want to follow sanitation protocols

  • Have ongoing conflicts with other artists and/or clients

  • Not professional - showing up late and not being prepared is a reflection of us
  • Expect free mentorship just because you’re renting space

  • Are unlicensed or uninsured

There are plenty of spaces out there. We’re just clear about how we operate.

Why Artists Choose to Stay

A lot of guest artists start short-term—and end up staying longer than planned.

Why?

  • Their clients feel comfortable here

  • They like the professional energy

  • They don’t miss managing a full lease

  • They appreciate being treated like adults

Real-life example:
One artist came in after leaving a toxic salon environment. She needed space to rebuild without pressure. Six months later, she was fully booked, confident again, and clear about what she wanted next.

That’s the goal.

Hosting Artists Is About Mutual Respect

This studio isn’t just walls and beds—it’s a working environment built on:

  • Mutual respect

  • Clear expectations

  • Professional standards

  • Flexibility without chaos

If you’re serious about your craft and want a space that supports that—not stifles it—you’ll probably feel at home here.

If You’re Looking for a New Home

Whether you’re:

  • A traveling artist

  • A seasoned professional

  • A beauty educator

  • Someone ready for a change

We’re open to the conversation.

Hosting guest artists is something we take seriously, because the right environment can make or break your momentum.

If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, reach out here.
We’ll talk details, expectations, and availability—no pressure.

Just adults, having an honest conversation about space.
